Eventually I accumulated the equivalent of 5 or 6 big suitcases full of feminine clothes and stuff. But I was very lonely too. I eventually had a girl (cisgender woman) who was interested in me…and 2 years later we were married. But for 6 years I didn’t tell her anything about me, I just thought I was “cured by love”, and for a time it seemed right to erase my feelings about being a woman. But not really, I was living a lie. I couldn’t that anymore so i came out to her in 2005. Make a long story short—devastating, heartbreaking, but also forgiving, but eventually no….divorce in 2009, one day later I became “full time”, and moved from Illinois to Northern California in 2010.
